New Crew began in 2025 on Australia's Gold Coast. Catherine and Daniel had just moved there from another state and found themselves in a familiar situation for many people starting somewhere new. They did not know anyone. Instead of waiting for friendships to form by chance, they created New Crew. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a thriving social group, with members meeting regularly and many forming genuine, lasting friendships.

From the beginning, the focus was simple. Bring good people together in relaxed, classy environments and allow real connections to form naturally. No agendas, no pressure, just a welcoming space where interesting and open minded people could meet others who were in a similar stage of life. Over time the group became known for its easy atmosphere and the quality of the people who attended.

Catherine and Daniel are adventurers at heart. After time living in Phuket in 2024, they were drawn back to Thailand and eventually chose Hua Hin as their next chapter. The lifestyle, the pace, and the community made it the perfect place to settle for a while and enjoy a different rhythm of life.

Moving countries brings the same challenge as moving cities. You arrive somewhere new and your social circle starts from zero again. Rather than leaving that to chance, Catherine and Daniel decided to recreate the same concept that had worked so well in Australia.

That is how New Crew Hua Hin was born.

New Crew exists for one simple purpose. Connecting people. It is not business networking, not pitching, not sales, and not dating. It is a completely not for profit, socially driven group designed for genuine people who want to build real friendships in a new place.

Our gatherings take place in relaxed, classy venues where good conversation and shared experiences are the focus. The goal is simple. Bring together thoughtful, interesting people and create the environment where lasting friendships can begin.
